← Back to LackeyTerms of Service
Last updated: June 30, 2026
These are the terms for using Lackey, made by Constella App, Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using Lackey, you agree to these terms. We wrote them in plain language on purpose.
1. What Lackey is
Lackey is a Slack bot that gives your team a daily recap and helps with small chores, like creating tasks, finding docs, checking pull requests, and drafting replies.
2. What you can do
Use Lackey to get your daily recap, create tasks, find docs, and do the other things it supports. Don't use Lackey to break the law, harm other people, or attack our systems.
3. Your workspace
You are responsible for what your team connects to Lackey and what you ask it to do. Anyone with the right permission in your workspace can add tools, remove tools, or uninstall Lackey.
4. Uninstalling
You can uninstall Lackey from your Slack workspace at any time. Once you do, Lackey stops reading or posting in your workspace.
5. No guarantees
We work hard to keep Lackey useful and reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Lackey is provided "as is."
6. Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, Constella App, Inc. is not responsible for indirect or unexpected damages that come from using Lackey.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Lackey after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
