Lackey is made by Constella App, Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control. We wrote it in plain language on purpose.
1. What Lackey is
Lackey is a Slack bot that helps your team remember what happened and get small things done. You install it in your Slack workspace, then choose which other tools it can connect to.
2. What we connect to
You choose what to connect. Depending on your choices, Lackey can connect to:
- Slack (channels and messages you give it access to)
- Notion
- Linear
- GitHub
- Gmail
- Google Calendar
We only ever see data from tools you connect. If you never connect a tool, we never see its data.
3. What we do with your data
We use the data from your connected tools to:
- Build your daily recap
- Answer questions you ask Lackey
- Do tasks you ask for, like creating a ticket or finding a doc
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models.
4. How long we keep data
We keep the data we need to make Lackey work for you. If you disconnect a tool or uninstall Lackey, we stop using that data going forward.
5. Who can see your data
Only the systems that power Lackey process your data. We do not share it with other companies for marketing or advertising.
6. Security
We use industry standard security to protect your data, including encryption in transit. Our Google Workspace integration is CASA Tier 2 certified, and we are working toward SOC 2 certification.
7. Your choices
You can disconnect any tool, uninstall Lackey from Slack, or ask us to delete your data at any time. Just email us and we will take care of it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
